ABOUT US

First and foremost, we started this business because we’re dog people and caring for dogs is our passion. But we also saw the need for a high-quality dog boarding service after a series of negative experiences boarding our own dogs. They would come back nervous, sad, dirty, or even injured. That’s why we’re committed to providing a luxury experience for our guests that centers around giving them as much personal attention as possible. We board a limited number of dogs at any one time and have more than enough employees (AKA family members) to ensure that someone is always with your dog. But it doesn’t feel like work to us at all. The man who loves his job never works a day in his life!

Dixie is a black lab mix. We adopted her in July of 2016. She was found on the mean streets of Tennessee where she was struggling to survive. Shortly after we got her, an x-ray revealed that there were bullet fragments lodged in her nasal cavity which needed to be surgically removed. Dixie is a hunter at heart and loves to stare down rabbits and squirrels on the other side of our fence. She is extremely loyal and the very definition of man’s best friend. Dixie is thankfully still with us at the ripe old age of 12.

Molly was a border collie mix. We adopted her in February of 2017. She had been overbred which led to several health problems. She was almost completely blind but quickly figured out how to get around the house. Unfortunately, she eventually became deaf as well. Molly was a sweetheart and would always want to be near us. She would always nudge you with her nose to get your attention. Molly passed away in June of 2021.

Hank was a pug who came to us in July of 2019. Like our other two dogs, he was elderly and suffered from health complications. He had an unusual habit of licking his own eyeball and would make funny faces and noises not unlike an Ewok or a gremlin. He would always want to lay down next to his best friend Molly. Hank was the life of the party and brought joy to everyone he met. He had a way of making you smile even when you didn’t feel like smiling. Hank passed away in June of 2023, but he lives on as our mascot.

This is one black cat you want to cross your path. Kiki is the eldest Puleo brother’s tortoiseshell cat. She’s a diva, she’s a devil, she’s a doll. Equal parts sweet and spoiled, she has been described as “the perfect cat” by veterinarians. Except for the fact that she takes all of the socks out of my sock drawer and scatters them around the room.
